What should I wear?

Casual clothes are fine although jeans will restrict movement so make sure it is something loose and comfortable. preferably no trainers as you will find it harder to dance. Girls will find it easier with a small heel.

Do I have to book beforehand?

No, we would like you to register so we have some information about you but you can either do that on here beforehand or on the night so just look at the class timetable, and turn up at the time stated.

Do I have to pay by the term in advance?

No, we understand you cant always make it so you can pay each time you come.

Do I need a partner?

We are happy for you to come without a partner however if you can bring one you will get the most benefit from the classes if you have someone who is not confident that they could lead then why not tell them about the complimentary leaders class.

I have two left Feet!

I should think that you only really have experience of disco music, which has a bass beat that changes which can confuse a lot of people.  Ballroom & Latin has a strict tempo throughout that does not change and all you need to know is the steps to follow.

If you feel you have two left feet and cant dance you will soon find if you come to a class you will be able to dance because the way we teach is fun and entertaining so you will remember the steps easily.

Why do you have Separate Ballroom & Latin Classes?

For two reasons:-

1. Some of the latin dances are quite energetic and if you are a little older or have a condition that means you cant jump around much and want to be able to do the more gentle dancing then you can choose just to do the Ballroom.
2. You get more time learning dances so you get better faster.

You can always choose to do both if that is what you want and there is a discount for doing both sessions.

Can I pay for more than one lesson at a time?

Yes we run a gift voucher scheme so you can buy in advance or as a gift for someone else (or someone you like!) You can purchase them in multiples of five.  We can also do gift vouchers for private lessons or wedding couples. Please use the contact form for details.
